Objectives

• Identify and prioritize programmes and initiatives that support the Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plans of the Institute, through the following:
  • Developing plans for initiatives, including objectives, key result areas, timelines and milestones, as well as identifying any budgetary needs;
  • Building and coordinating implementation teams to further initiatives, including assistance from the National Committee;
  • Seeking feedback and approval from the National Committee for initiatives (and its financial support if required);
  • Following progress of initiatives throughout their “life cycles” and providing reporting (i.e. monitoring and evaluation) to the National Committee.
• Document and consolidate information on all past, ongoing and future programmes and initiatives that SAIAT carries out or is involved in, as a means of providing visibility to members and stakeholders.
• Promote meaningful engagement, representation and involvement of various demographics in our membership.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for engaging and/or partnering with various industrial stakeholders and players.
